The Asatru Folk Assembly's Charming of the Plow will be hosted by the Black Sun Tribe's this year in a new location! Join us in Texas as we Preparing both the soil, and ourselves for the harvest of earth, and performing of great deed's, through out the coming year.  Join us as we join our might and myne together in blot as we plant our will into the soil so it may grow and bare fruit through out the year for our folk!

Traditionally, this commemoration is one of the oldest known in Germanic history, as our farming Folk and yeomanry would participate in special ceremonies to "charm" the plow and ensure fertile soil and bountiful crops, something vital to the existence of our ancestors.

Today, we are not as connected to the farming lifestyle as we once were, but we can certainly take away the lessons of cultivating and nurturing our goals and deeds so that our actions will bear fruit.

Join us in a three day family friendly celebration, with meals and home style lodging included. We will have prominent speakers from the AFA, galdr workshop, blots, and a dedicated feast! Register today for a frith filled weekend building new bonds of frith and friendship, as well as strengthening old ones! This event is for AFA members and vouched for guests.

Hail the Gods!
Hail the Folk!
Hail the AFA!
